Photographs and so on Are Printed in Different Colors from Those Displayed on the Monitor
Perform the following procedure.
<Cause> The methods for adjusting the color on the screen (RGB) and in the printer (YMC) are different. Therefore, the color on the screen may not be printed out exactly as it appears.
Solution 1

Perform the following procedure in the printer driver.
1.

Display the [Quality] sheet.
|
2.
|
Select the [Manual Color Settings] check box.
|
3.
|
Click [Color Settings].
|
4.
|
Display the [Matching] sheet.
|
5.
|
Set [Matching Method] to [Perceptual [Monitor Color Matched]].
|
You can specify the same setting from the printer's control panel.

Solution 2
|
Perform the following procedure in the printer driver.
1.

Display the [Quality] sheet.
|
2.
|
Select the [Manual Color Settings] check box.
|
3.
|
Click [Color Settings].
|
4.
|
Display the [Matching] sheet.
|
5.
|
Select [Gamma Adjustment] in [Matching Mode].
|
6.
|
Change the gamma value for [Gamma].
|
|
The larger the value is, the darker in color the data is printed.
|
You can specify the same setting from the printer's control panel.
